Senior Project Engineer – Civil (Government Project)

Supervise the project team members to achieve financial and other operational performance targets.
Monitor and control of project performance against budget, schedule, safety and quality.
Prepare and submit relevant permit application for work commencement.
Prepare working programme, method statement, material submission, progress report.
Monitor and manage performance and progress of Subcontractors/Suppliers.
Coordinate and submit work inspection form and follow up action, if any.
Assist in resolving site conflicts and to propose collective solutions.
Evaluate and manage Subcontractors/Suppliers’ quotations and payment applications.
Record and report contractual disputes and variation orders.
Liaise with Client, Subcontractors and other relevant parties to ensure smooth operation of the project.
Attend regular meetings (e.g. progress, cost related, safety and quality etc.) with Client, Consultant and Government Authorities (e.g. RMO, Highways Department) during the contract period.
Assist in Quality Assurance Audit both internally and externally (i.e. Internal Quality Audit, ISO 9001 etc.).
