Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel's performance) and report regularly on project status.
Meeting with client and stakeholders on an ongoing basis regarding project objectives and progress.
Assign project responsibilities to development team.
Ensure compliance to applicable codes, practices, QA/QC policies, performance standards and specifications.
Determines project schedule and monitor project progression.
Resolves any issues that arise and coordinate team activities to maintain approved schedule.
Controls project pace and suggest schedule changes as needed.
Controls project costs by approving expenditures and administering contractor contracts.
Prepares project status report and updates management team on project progression, completion and any necessary updates regularly.
Cooperate and communicate effectively with project manager and other project participants to provide assistance and technical support.
Maintains safe and clean working environment.
Maintains project data base.
Requirements
Higher diploma or above in Mechanical or Control / Instrumentation Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of related work experience in construction; preferably in Process / Industrial plant such as power plant, chemical/waste treatment plant or any infrastructure projects.
Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Engineer, candidate with more experience will be considered as Senior Project Engineer.
Proficient in MS Office.
Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese.
